A Night of Encounter: Youth Worship and Salvation at Shem International

On 19 December 2025, I was invited to minister at a youth conference worship night hosted by Shem International under the leadership of Bishop John Bright. All church branches gathered for one night of worship, prayer, and unity.

The event took place at Kirobon Girls High School. From the moment my team and I arrived, the expectation was clear. The room carried a deep hunger for God, especially among the youth.

An Atmosphere Marked by God’s Presence

When worship began, the atmosphere shifted quickly. God’s presence filled the room. Hands lifted. Voices rose. Within minutes, most of the congregation was on their knees.

Young people cried out in prayer. Worship flowed freely. Hearts opened fully to God.

There was no performance. No pressure. Only sincere hunger for God.

We prayed for families, schools, and young people. We prayed for deeper intimacy with God and a renewed love for Him. God met people exactly where they were. The response was genuine and strong.

The Defining Moment of the Night

The defining moment came when Ken Zoe, led by the Holy Spirit, made an altar call for those who wanted to surrender their lives to Jesus Christ.

Over 100 people responded and gave their lives to Christ.

Tears flowed. Prayers filled the room. Joy was visible. Heaven rejoiced. It was a clear reminder that salvation remains the greatest miracle.

A Growing Hunger Among the Youth

This night revealed a growing hunger for real encounters with God among young people.

Youth are searching for truth. They want authenticity. They desire the tangible presence of God.

And God is responding.
